Sukhov Sergey Vladimirovich was born in 1973 in Ulyanovsk. In 1995, he graduated from the Ulyanovsk Branch of Moscow State University (Department of Physics and Engineering) with honours diploma. In 1995, he became a post-graduate student of the same educational establishment which was already independent institution (Ulyanovsk State University). In 1999, Sukhov S.V. defended his Candidate thesis. The theme of thesis is "Near-field effect in a ultrathin nonlinear film of resonant atoms". He works in Ulyanovsk Branch of IRE RAS since 1998. Nowadays Sukhov S.V. is the senior scientist of UB IRE RAS.
